What Rumizi does

  • A digital menu built from the one you have

    Send a photo, a PDF or a link to a menu that's already online, and AI extraction drafts it in about one to three minutes — categories, dishes, prices, ingredients and allergens. The draft stays hidden until you publish; then guests open it in any browser from a QR code or a link, with no app and no account.

  • A companion guests can ask

    Beside every menu runs an AI companion that asks each guest what matters first — their language, their allergies, what they avoid, whether it's their first visit — then suggests only the dishes that fit. It answers from the menu you approved and nothing else, so your servers stop repeating the same answers all night.

  • Every guest in their own language

    Guests read the menu and talk to the companion in any of ten languages, with Arabic and Persian laid out right to left. On the paid plans, dishes you haven't translated are translated for each guest automatically, and anything you've written yourself always comes first.

  • A workspace you control

    Change anything after launch: reorder sections, mark a dish sold out until the next opening, add options and modifiers, generate dish photos and invite your staff. Publishing is reversible, so you can always go back to the version guests saw before.

  • A list of what guests wanted to know

    When a guest asks something your menu doesn't say — a dish's ingredients, its portion size, an allergen — the companion notes it for you. Your menu knowledge screen lists those questions by dish, and answering one fills the gap for every guest after.

  • Your domain and your website

    Serve the menu on your own domain, on any plan. A chat button for your existing website opens the companion in one tap, so guests can start asking before they arrive.

    A general chatbot like ChatGPT answers from whatever it can find online. Rumizi's companion answers only from the menu you approved and published — down to the dish you marked sold out tonight.

  4. It asks about allergies first

    A printed menu can't ask a guest anything. Rumizi's companion asks about allergies before it recommends a dish, keeps conflicting dishes out of its picks, never calls a dish allergen-free, and sends the guest to your staff to confirm when a dish might be a problem.

  5. Your menu stays free

    The Free plan costs $0, with no limit on menus, categories or dishes, and new venues get two months of the AI companion free, with no credit card. If you stop paying, your menu, its link and your domain stay live.

Rasoul opened a café called Delis and went looking for a way to put its menu online. Everything on offer was complicated, expensive, or built by people who had never run a kitchen.

How Rumizi started

So Rasoul wrote down a hundred questions guests actually ask about a menu — what's in this, what's safe with my allergy, how hot is it, what's worth ordering — and found that a printed menu answers none of them. Rumizi is the menu that does.

The team today

Rumizi is small and founder-led, run from Ontario, Canada. There is no sales team or account manager: the person who reads your email is the person who builds your menu, which is why we take on only a few new venues a week.

  1. Send us your menu

    Request a demo on our home page with four quick questions, including a link to your website or current menu — or upload a photo or PDF of your menu directly.

  2. We build it

    AI extraction drafts your menu in about one to three minutes, and we finish it and set up its companion by hand. Guests see nothing until you publish.

  3. You try it

    You get a link to try it before you decide anything. Change any dish, price or photo from your workspace.

  4. You publish

    Publish when you're happy, and put the link on your tables as a QR code. Your first two months of Pro are free; after that, subscribe or stay on the Free plan.
